LIMASSOL, Cyprus, Sept. 18, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Toro Corp. (NASDAQ: TORO), (“Toro”, or the “Company”), a global energy transportation services provider, announces that it has entered into agreements, through two separate wholly-owned subsidiaries, to acquire two MR tanker vessels (the “Vessels”), from unaffiliated third parties.

The Company acquired the M/T Wonder Alasia, a 2018 Japanese-built MR tanker vessel, for a purchase price of $45.9 million and took delivery of the vessel on September 17, 2026.

Furthermore, the Company acquired a 2014 Korean-built scrubber-fitted MR tanker vessel, for a purchase price of $37.5 million and took delivery of the vessel on September 18, 2026. The vessel is expected to be renamed M/T Wonder Atria.

The Vessels’ acquisitions were funded with cash on hand.
