In commodities trading, crude oil for October delivery was down 0.60% or 0.50 to trade at $83.03 a barrel. Brent oil for November delivery fell 0.60% or 0.53, settling at $87.99 a barrel. The December Gold Futures contract declined 1.92% or 89.49 to trade at $4,574.51 a troy ounce.

On the currency front, EUR/SEK rose 0.40% to 11.13, while USD/SEK increased 0.86% to 9.60. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 99.51.
