Stocks in Sweden ended lower after trading on Monday, with the benchmark OMX Stockholm 30 slipping 0.31% at the close in Stockholm. Market pressure was concentrated in the Basic Materials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors, which collectively helped drag the index down.
On an individual-stock basis among the OMX Stockholm 30 components, Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was among the session winners, finishing up 1.62% or 0.78 points at 49.05. Industrivarden, AB ser. C (ST:INDUc) rose 1.25% or 6.20 points to close at 503.80, and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.03% or 1.80 points to end the day at 176.05.

Market breadth at the Stockholm exchange tilted toward losers, with 474 issues down versus 274 advancers and 56 stocks finishing unchanged. That distribution reflected the session s sector-level headwinds despite pockets of strength among individual names.
Commodity prices were mixed during the session. Crude oil for July delivery was higher, up 1.24% or 1.12 to $91.66 a barrel. Brent oil for August delivery gained 1.85% or 1.72 to $94.81 a barrel. By contrast, the August Gold Futures contract was effectively flat, slipping 0.00% or 0.10 to trade at $4,365.20 a troy ounce.
Foreign-exchange moves recorded modest declines for the krona against both the euro and the U.S. dollar. EUR/SEK was down 0.05% at 10.88, while USD/SEK fell 0.21% to 9.42. The U.S. Dollar Index Futures also retreated, down 0.13% at 99.92.
The trading picture on Monday combined a slightly weaker Swedish market with commodity and currency shifts that were not uniformly directional. The session left several large-cap telecom and industrial names moving in opposite directions as market participants closed out positions at the end of the trading day.
