Declining issues outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Exchange by 249 to 83, with 15 stocks unchanged at the close.

Several stocks reached significant thresholds during the session. Shares of AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140) moved down to five-year lows, falling 9.99% or 1.03 to 9.28. Raoom Trading Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4144) rose to 52-week highs, gaining 7.10% or 5.30 to 79.90. Nice One Beauty Digital Marketing (TADAWUL:4193) dropped to an all-time low, decreasing 8.43% or 1.04 to 11.30.

Commodities trading reflected declines on the session. Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.71% or 1.41 to $81.20 a barrel. Brent oil for October delivery fell 2.14% or 1.84 to $84.03 a barrel. The August gold futures contract was lower by 1.06% or 43.40, trading at $4,033.60 a troy ounce.

Currency movements were limited. EUR/SAR was unchanged, moving 0.02% to 4.27, while USD/SAR was unchanged, shifting 0.01% to 3.75. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 101.40.
