Several individual share milestones were recorded during the session. AL Sydbank A/S hit an all-time high, with shares closing at 589.00 after a 0.08% increase. ISS A/S reached a five-year high following its 4.79% rise to 284.60.

Commodities and currency markets showed mixed moves alongside the equities gains. Crude oil for August delivery fell 1.27%, or 0.87, to trade at $67.71 a barrel. Brent oil for September delivery was down 1.19%, or 0.85, to $70.72 a barrel. The August Gold Futures contract rose 1.32%, gaining 53.69 to trade at $4,136.09 a troy ounce.

In foreign-exchange trading, USD/DKK moved lower by 0.56% to 6.53, while EUR/DKK was effectively unchanged, shifting 0.02% to 7.47. The US Dollar Index Futures declined 0.62% to 100.53.
