TrueDAO has closed a $10 million strategic financing round led by Brevan Howard Digital, with Zee Prime Capital and Jump Capital participating. The capital will be directed toward developing the protocol's smart contract architecture, AI-powered risk monitoring and stress testing, independent security audits and monitoring, multi-jurisdictional legal and compliance work, and expanded developer and partnership activities as the project moves toward testnet and staged disclosures of operations and reserves.

Key Points

  • TrueDAO raised $10 million in a strategic financing round led by Brevan Howard Digital, with participation from Zee Prime Capital and Jump Capital.
  • Proceeds are earmarked for smart contract and protocol refinement, AI-based risk monitoring and stress testing, security audits and real-time monitoring, legal and compliance work across jurisdictions, and developer documentation and partnerships.
  • TrueDAO positions itself as a modular, AI-driven on-chain financial infrastructure offering liquidity and reserve management, risk alerts, yield distribution, and governance support to global ecosystem projects.

TrueDAO confirmed the completion of a $10 million strategic funding round, announcing today that Brevan Howard Digital led the investment, with Zee Prime Capital and Jump Capital participating.

The company said the funds will be deployed across five priority areas: refinement of smart contracts and modular protocol components; development of AI-driven risk monitoring and stress-testing capabilities; implementation of independent security audits alongside real-time monitoring and bug bounty programs; advancement of legal and compliance assessments across multiple jurisdictions; and the publication of developer documentation while broadening ecosystem partnerships.

TrueDAO's founding effort began roughly a year ago, when the project team set out to construct a decentralized financial infrastructure grounded in smart contracts, on-chain reserves, dynamic value adjustment mechanisms, and community governance. According to the team, that work aimed to confront long-standing issues in the crypto industry around yield sustainability, reserve transparency, responsive risk management, and efficient governance processes.

Since initiating the project, TrueDAO reports it has completed the core protocol architecture. Rather than targeting a single blockchain application, the project positions itself as a modular, composable financial infrastructure layer designed to provide other global ecosystem projects with services such as liquidity management, reserve management, risk alerts, yield distribution, and governance support.

SoLee, Head of Marketing at TrueDAO, commented: "Raising $10 million is a significant milestone, but it is not the finish line. While capital accelerates development, it cannot replace security, transparent governance, and genuine value creation. We remain committed to building an on-chain financial infrastructure that is auditable, verifiable, and governable."

Following the close of the financing, TrueDAO plans to move forward with a staged program that includes a testnet launch, security audits, the roll-out of developer tools, and deeper ecosystem integrations. The project also said it will disclose protocol operations and reserve data in phases. Specific launch dates, the structure of any token arrangements, and incentive mechanisms will be announced through official channels and will comply with applicable laws.

Risks

  • Security vulnerabilities remain a material concern - TrueDAO plans independent audits, real-time monitoring, and bug bounties to address this risk; this impacts the DeFi and crypto infrastructure sectors.
  • Legal and regulatory uncertainty across multiple jurisdictions - the project is advancing compliance assessments but specific legal outcomes are not guaranteed; this affects regulatory and financial services sectors.
  • Timelines, token structures, and incentive mechanisms are not yet finalized - the staged disclosures and official announcements mean market participants must wait for definitive details before assessing economic implications; this influences developer ecosystems and token markets.
