Shares of VenHub Global (NASDAQ:VHUB) climbed 20% on Monday morning following the company's announcement that its autonomous retail robotics now include advanced self-diagnostic capabilities.

The company said the upgrade extends to several robotic elements used in its Smart Stores - including robotic arms, dynamic bins and intelligent refrigerators - enabling those components to detect performance issues autonomously. When a problem is identified, the affected unit can safely power down for service while adjacent devices continue operating, according to the company.

VenHub also introduced a predictive maintenance tool called Smart Health Monitoring. The system continuously tracks the performance of motors and sensors and is designed to automatically notify both store operators and VenHub's service team when components are approaching the point where service or replacement will be required.

VenHub positions its Smart Stores as unattended retail environments that combine robotics and automation to allow 24/7 operations. The company says the stores provide contactless transactions for a range of items, from snacks to travel essentials.

"Our growth strategy is built on technology that scales efficiently while also delivering consistent, 24/7 reliability for Smart Store operators and consumers," said Shahan Ohanessian, CEO at VenHub.

The company characterized the software and hardware enhancements as measures to support retailers and partners as it accelerates deployment across major markets. VenHub's announcement links the self-diagnostic features and predictive alerts to improved service coordination and targeted maintenance actions.
