Data and research note

What are the best investment opportunities in 2026? The original text highlighted that stronger investment decisions begin with higher-quality data. It noted that relying on intuition has limits and that a combination of institutional-grade data with AI insights can improve idea generation. The description emphasized that such tools do not guarantee winners but can help identify more opportunities more often.

This session's outcome left Turkey's benchmark at a new record level, supported by sector-specific rallies and notable performances among individual issuers, while commodities and currency moves reflected mixed trends.

Risks

  • Individual-stock volatility - notable declines such as Otokar's 8.26% drop indicate company-specific or sector sensitivity that could increase portfolio risk in the auto and defense sector.
  • Currency and commodity swings - movements in USD/TRY, EUR/TRY, gold and oil introduce external influences on corporate margins and investor returns across multiple sectors.
  • Concentration of gains - leadership by a handful of sectors (Leasing & Factoring, Holdings & Investments and Sports) may leave the broader market exposed if those sectors reverse.
