Tel Aviv equities ended Wednesday's session with a modest decline, as sector-level weakness in Banking, Real Estate and Biomedical names pushed the TA 35 down 0.20% at the close.

The best-performing issues on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) and Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd (TASE:CLIS).

Commodities and currencies
Commodity markets showed modest moves. Crude oil for April delivery fell 0.34% or 0.25 to $74.31 a barrel. Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.34% or 0.28 at $81.12 a barrel. The April Gold Futures contract climbed 0.66% or 34.00 to trade at 5,157.70 a troy ounce.

Wednesday's session presented a contrast between a small negative on the headline index and pockets of strong gains among select large caps. Sector pressure from Banking, Real Estate and Biomedical names weighed on the benchmark, even as individual stocks in technology, defense and insurance attracted buyer interest.
