NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 6.76% or 1,810.00 points to end the day at 28,570.00, and supermarket operator Shufersal (TASE:SAE) advanced 5.49% or 234.00 points to close at 4,495.00.
On the downside, Nova (TASE:NVMI) slipped 2.43%, a decline of 3,830.00 points, to trade at 153,670.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) fell 1.88% or 1,440.00 points to finish at 75,000.00, while Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) dropped 0.87% or 230.00 points to 26,070.00.
Market breadth was positive: 336 stocks rose while 147 declined and 73 were unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Commodities and currency moves accompanied the equity action. Crude oil for August delivery declined 1.74% - down $1.21 - settling at $68.29 a barrel. Brent for September delivery fell 2.21% or $1.61 to $71.34 a barrel. By contrast, the August Gold Futures contract gained 1.67%, an increase of $67.25, to trade at $4,105.75 a troy ounce.
In foreign-exchange trading, the U.S. dollar rose against the shekel: USD/ILS was up 0.39% to 2.99. EUR/ILS moved 0.10% to 3.40. The U.S. Dollar Index Futures increased 0.16% to 101.12.
