Formosa Petrochemical gained 10.00% - an increase of 6.20 points to end the session at 68.20.
On the downside, several stocks posted 10.00% declines. Powertech Technology Inc (TW:6239) fell 10.00% - a drop of 22.50 points to close at 202.50. Abonmax Co Ltd (TW:2429) declined 10.00% or 5.10 points to finish at 45.90. Unitech Printed Circuit Board Corp (TW:2367) slipped 10.00% - down 6.90 points to 62.10.
