The company, which builds AI and augmented reality technology for the beauty sector, said the expanded offering constitutes the industry’s most comprehensive AI Hair & Beard API portfolio. The integration combines virtual try-on functionality with AI-driven hair diagnostics in a single, developer-ready package.
The enhanced suite breaks down into two functional groups. One group comprises seven virtual try-on and style simulation APIs that cover hair color, hairstyles, extensions, bangs, volume, wavy hair, and beard styles. The second group includes four diagnostic and analysis APIs designed to detect hair type, length, frizziness, and density.

Perfect Corp. also highlighted that all YouCam APIs include native support for Model Context Protocol. That support allows the APIs to be integrated directly into AI agents and LLM-powered workflows, with named compatibility for platforms such as Claude and Cursor.
