Destek Finans Faktoring and Sekerbank reached all-time highs, while several mid-cap names recorded notable declines. Top gainers and losers

On an individual stock basis, Destek Finans Faktoring As (IS:DSTKF) was the session's strongest performer, jumping 9.96% - an increase of 127.00 points - to close at 1,402.00. Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER) followed, adding 9.84% or 0.31 points to finish at 3.46. Sekerbank TAS (IS:SKBNK) also posted solid gains, rising 7.32% or 0.85 points to end the day at 12.46.

At the other end of the tape, Kiler Holding AS (IS:KLRHO) recorded the largest decline, falling 9.95% or 43.75 points to close at 395.75. Gubre Fabrikalari TAS (IS:GUBRF) declined 4.17% or 22.00 points to 506.00, while Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dis Ticaret AS (IS:PASEU) fell 3.70% or 5.10 points to end at 132.90.

Breadth and milestones

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, with 350 stocks rising against 243 that fell, and 19 remaining unchanged. Notably, shares of Destek Finans Faktoring As and Sekerbank TAS rose to all-time highs during the session, with both companies registering significant percentage gains.

Commodities and energy

Precious metals and energy markets moved higher in tandem with equities in the session. Gold Futures for April delivery climbed 2.73%, increasing by 138.56 to trade at 5,219.46 per troy ounce. In the oil complex, April delivery crude oil rose 1.19% or 0.79 to $67.27 a barrel, while the May Brent contract increased 1.02% or 0.73 to $72.03 a barrel.

Foreign exchange and dollar index

Currency pairs involving the Turkish lira showed modest moves. The USD/TRY rate edged up 0.05% to 43.84, and EUR/TRY rose 0.30% to 51.78. Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index Futures traded lower, down 0.23% at 97.51.
