Anthropic rolls out Claude Partner Network with $100 million commitment for 2026

Anthropic has launched the Claude Partner Network and pledged $100 million in 2026 to back organizations that help enterprises deploy its Claude AI model. The initiative includes training, technical support, co-marketing funds, a new certification for architects, a code modernization starter kit, and plans to expand the partner-facing team fivefold. Membership is free and open to any organization bringing Claude to market.

Key Points

  • Anthropic committed $100 million in 2026 to fund partners that help enterprises deploy the Claude AI model, with funds earmarked for training, sales enablement, market development and co-marketing.
  • The Claude Partner Network offers a Partner Portal, immediate access to the Claude Certified Architect, Foundations certification, a Code Modernization starter kit, and plans to expand the partner-facing team fivefold to provide engineers and architects for customer deals.
  • Claude is available on AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft; Anthropic will work with management consultancies, professional services firms and specialist AI firms to support enterprise rollouts. Membership is free and applications opened Thursday.

Anthropic on Thursday introduced the Claude Partner Network and said it will allocate $100 million in 2026 to support firms that assist enterprises in adopting the Claude AI model. The program bundles training, technical assistance, and joint market development resources aimed at accelerating customer deployments.

Organizations that join from Thursday onward will gain immediate access to a newly launched technical certification and will become eligible for investment from Anthropic. The company said a sizeable share of the $100 million commitment will be directed to partners to fund training, sales enablement, market development and co-marketing for joint campaigns and events.

To support live deals and complex implementations, Anthropic plans to expand its partner-facing team by a factor of five. The enlarged team is intended to include dedicated Applied AI engineers to work on customer engagements, technical architects for intricate deployments and localized support in international markets.

Members of the Claude Partner Network will be able to use the Partner Portal, which houses Anthropic Academy training content, sales playbooks produced by the company’s go-to-market unit, and co-marketing documentation. Partners that meet qualification criteria will be listed in a Services Partner Directory designed for enterprise buyers seeking firms with Claude implementation experience.

Anthropic launched the Claude Certified Architect, Foundations credential on Thursday for partner organizations. The technical exam is aimed at solution architects responsible for building production applications with Claude. The company said additional certifications for sellers, architects and developers will follow later in 2026.

As part of the partner toolkit, Anthropic released a Code Modernization starter kit to help partners migrate legacy codebases and tackle technical debt. The company described code modernization as a high-demand enterprise workload in which Claude’s coding capabilities can yield measurable client outcomes.

Claude is available across the three major cloud platforms - AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft - making the model accessible on multiple cloud infrastructures. Anthropic said it will collaborate with management consultancies, professional services firms and specialist AI companies to support enterprise customers deploying Claude.

Membership in the Claude Partner Network is free, and applications opened on Thursday. Anthropic said any organization that brings Claude to market is eligible to join.

Program components at a glance

  • Financial commitment: $100 million earmarked for 2026 to support partner activities.
  • Resources: Training, sales enablement, market development, co-marketing funds and a Partner Portal with playbooks and materials.
  • Technical support: Applied AI engineers and technical architects to assist live customer deals and complex implementations.
  • Certifications: Claude Certified Architect, Foundations available now; additional certifications to be released later in 2026.
  • Tools: Code Modernization starter kit to address legacy code and technical debt.

The network is positioned to connect enterprises with firms that have Claude deployment experience while providing partners with both practical resources and potential access to capital. Anthropic’s multi-cloud availability for Claude is highlighted as an element that facilitates partner-led implementations across diverse cloud environments.

Risks

  • Additional certifications for sellers, architects and developers are scheduled to launch later in 2026 - the timeline and availability remain pending.
  • Partners who join become eligible for investment but eligibility does not guarantee receipt of funding.
  • The program relies on Anthropic’s plan to scale its partner-facing team fivefold to deliver dedicated Applied AI engineers, technical architects and localized support; successful implementation depends on executing that expansion.
