Sweden's equity market ended Monday's session in negative territory, as sector-level weakness in Telecoms, Industrials and Financials weighed on the benchmark. At the close in Stockholm the OMX Stockholm 30 finished down 0.89%.

Commodity prices were also softer. Crude oil for December delivery slipped 0.37% or 0.37 to trade at $98.65 a barrel. Brent oil for December delivery fell 0.27% or 0.30 to $109.56 a barrel. The December Gold Futures contract eased 0.48% or 20.13 to trade at $4,160.97 a troy ounce.
In currency moves tied to Swedish assets, EUR/SEK was effectively flat, changing by 0.01% to 11.12, while USD/SEK rose 0.29% to 9.93. The US Dollar Index Futures moved up 0.17% to 101.83.
Market context - The session reflected outsized declines among several industrial and resource names, which combined with losses in telecom and financial stocks to drag the headline index lower. A small group of firms, including SCA Class B, Nibe Industrier and SKF Class B, posted modest gains but did not offset the broader downward pressure.
What to watch next - Equity breadth, movements in crude and Brent prices, and the trajectory of the US Dollar index may remain factors to monitor for Swedish market direction in subsequent sessions.
