The Secret Service and General Motors refrained from providing additional comments regarding the specifics of the new Cadillac SUVs when approached for more information. Originally manufactured 13 years ago, the former Qatari jet, featuring a plush interior, is currently undergoing extensive retrofitting estimated to cost several hundred million dollars.

The Air Force anticipates delivery of this interim aircraft by no later than summer 2026, with assurances that all necessary security protocols and functional mission requirements are being carefully coordinated with relevant government agencies.

However, the introduction of the next generation of Air Force One jetliners has encountered significant postponements, with the first of the two new Boeing planes now expected by mid-2028.
