Risks

  • Individual stock volatility: several names recorded large intraday percentage moves, including Efor Yatırım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. hitting a 52-week low, underscoring idiosyncratic risk for smaller-cap stocks.
  • Commodity and currency fluctuation: movements in crude oil, gold and the lira crosses (USD/TRY, EUR/TRY) introduce uncertainty for sectors sensitive to input costs and foreign-currency exposure.
  • Concentration of gains in specific sectors means market-level strength may be unevenly distributed across the economy, posing sectoral performance risk for investors.
